Cold Rolled Steel Strip is a strip steel product made from hot-rolled strip steel or steel plate, processed at room temperature (below the recrystallization temperature of the metal) through multiple processes including rolling, annealing, and pickling on a cold rolling mill (four-roll, six-roll, or multi-roll mill). Finished cold-rolled strip steel is mostly supplied in coils, with a thickness typically ranging from 0.1 to 3 mm and a width from 100 to 2000 mm. Thick strips less than 0.2 mm can be further processed into extremely thin strip steel or foil, with the thinnest reaching below 0.001 mm.
